Why We Built This Site
Utah court rules allow access to public court records, yet finding the correct custodian can still be difficult. The clerk of court is the keeper of the docket - the running list of filings, parties, and settings for each case. The trial courts hold the dockets: they schedule hearings, hear cases, and enter dispositions. The statewide case-search system pulls case indexes together so a name or case number can be looked up in one place. Add specialty courts and separate criminal and civil divisions, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the contact details, search portals, case-number formats, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

What We Cannot Do
Morgan County Court Docket is a private reference service, with no affiliation to a Utah court, clerk, or public agency. Its role has clear limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
